Former celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly settled their divorce. TMZ reports that West, who is now known as Ye, is set to pay the reality TV star $200,000 every month in child support.

In the settlement, issues about their properties were also sealed along with the custody of their children. Kim and Kanye are parents to four children- North, 9, Chicago, 4, Saint, 6, and Psalm, 3. The court document says that the former couple will have joint custody of their children and will have “equal access” to them.

However, TMZ reports citing sources that the children will mostly be staying with their mother. Earlier, on the podcast Alo Mind, West had himself suggested that Kardashian has the children to herself for the most amount of time. His exact comment was, “Even to this day, I’ll still give Kim advice on things that can help, because that’s gonna go to the kids. She’s still got [them] 80% of the time — raise those children.”

Besides paying his former wife $200,000 every month for child support, West will also pay 50% of the amount spent for their education as well as security.

The former couple’s prenuptial agreement helped settle their issues regarding property and spousal support, the latter of which was waived off in the agreement.

The duo first started dating in 2012 and tied the knot in 2014. They were regarded as one of Hollywood’s most influential power couples during their seven-year marriage that ended in 2021.
