Thor: Love and Thunder‘ starts with Korg giving viewers a rundown of the Asgardian’s life including the battles fought and those he’s lost. Amid the recap, Korg also speaks of Thor’s relationships.

In the films, we’ve seen Lady Sif make romantic advances but Thor’s seemingly always been drawn to Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman. However, at the start of ‘Love and Thunder’, we understand that things didn’t work out for the two, and Thor’s been on many adventures since.

Having transformed from dad bod to God bod, coupled with the God of Thunder’s usual bravado, it isn’t a stretch to picture the Asgardian having entanglements, romantic or otherwise. Korg refers to this saying jokingly, saying that Thor loved all equally.

The talkative friend of the Asgardian then tells us about the time Thor was with a feisty pirate, and again, when he was with a Wolf girl on a girlf wolf. Thor is seen with a lycanthrope woman, and the two are seated on a wolf.

Korg then goes on to say that among all these, Jane Foster remained Thor’s true love. The two get off to an awkward start when they’re reintroduced in the movie, but eventually, reconcile and declare their love for each other. Foster, in her dying moments, tells Thor not to close his heart to love or push people away, just to avoid pain.
