The American Music Awards are currently underway, and stars have started arriving on the red carpet. The one music star who has drawn the attention of social media users is Machine Gun Kelly. The American Music Awards are being held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. The nominations for the awards were declared on October 13, 2022, and voting also began on the same day.

The event is being aired live on ABC and will be available for streaming on Hulu tomorrow, November 22, 2022.

There are four new award categories that have been introduced for the 50th edition of the American Music Awards. These include Favorite K-Pop Artist, Favorite Rock Song, Favorite Afrobeat Artist, and Favorite Rock Album.

Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny has received the highest number of nominations this year, including the Artist of the Year. Taylor Swift broke her own record when she was nominated for the category for the ninth time in her career.
