Music mogul Scooter Braun, who is best known for managing singers such as Ariana Grande and Justin Beiber, has reportedly separated from his wife, Yael Cohen Braun, after 7 years of marriage.

The couple decided to separate following a rough patch in their marriage. They will, however, remain friends, Page Six reported, quoting an insider.

The website also said that in the months before the separation, Braun ad secretly checked into an “intense psycho-spiritual retreat.”

In a podcast in June, Braun had said, “My wife and I began to hear all kinds of rumors, like ‘[Scooter] has gone crazy.’ But it wasn’t that. It was just feeling like I wasn’t present in my life, and [feeling] like the people around me who loved me, I felt their hurt.”

“Because, one, we’re all coming in with our own trauma, and weirdly our trauma was matching up, and … I couldn’t fix it. And I’m a fixer. Since I was a kid, I was the guy who was going to make it OK for everybody. And I just couldn’t fix things in this moment in time,” he had said on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast.

On July 6, Braun shared a photo on Instagram to mark their wedding anniversary.

“If just for the kids you have given me everything. But thanks to you I have grown, I have been pushed to be the best version of myself and to continue growing and learning. That all happened because you came in to my life. 7 years. The adventure is just beginning. Thank you Yae. I love you. Happy anniversary,” he had written on Instagram, along with a photo of himself and his wife in their wedding attire.

The couple has three children — Jagger, 6, Levi, 4, and Hart, 2.
