“Zindagi khatam ho jayegi but yeh online classes khatam nahi hongi” (life will be over but online classes will go on) that’s the first glimpse of Renee as an actor in her first short film “Suttabaazi”.
Just like her mother Sushmita Sen, who has turned an year old on Thursday, Renee opted for acting as her profession. In the trailer that is out now, she is playing the role of a defiant teenager named Diya Kumar spending lockdown with her parents.
In one of the scenes, she can be seen secretly smoking while in another scene, when she tells her father that she is preparing for Insta Live, he replies back saying, “Kyu Insta Live, kapde nahi pehnate kya ( Why? For Instagram Live people don’t wear clothes or what? )
Rahul Vohra and Komal Chhabria will essay the role of her parents in the film that has been directed Kabeer Khurana. It will release in December.
Meanwhile, the former Miss Universe also made her acting comeback with OTT show ‘Aarya’. The show also featured Chandrachur Singh and Sikandar Kher in lead roles.
