Superstar Rajinikanth, who is currently shooting for Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer, interacted with his fans and greeted them from his residence at Poes Garden, Chennai on Diwali. On October 24, Thalaivar appeared at the gate of his residence, waved at his fans, and blew flying kisses.

The fans were equally excited to see their idol.

Rajinikanth is currently shooting for the upcoming action comedy Jailer, directed by Nelson. The film features other popular actors like Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan in supporting roles.

The actor started shooting for the film a couple of months ago. He arrived at Jailer’s shooting spot in Cuddalore a couple of weeks ago. Thousands of fans were waiting for him to arrive at the shooting location. As he arrived, he lowered the window panes and greeted his fans with folded hands. Nelson Dilpkumar waved at the crowd, thanking them further.

Rajinikanth popularly addressed as Thalaivar and superstar is an Indian actor, producer, and screenwriter working predominantly for Tamil cinema. He is regarded as one of the most popular South Indian actors in the history of Indian Cinema. He has garnered a cult following and is popular for his unique style of dialogue delivery.

He is a crucial part of the popular culture of Tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth has acted in popular films such as Baasha, where he plays the role of a crime boss, Sivaji, where he acts as an honest man with the aim of fighting systemic corruption and Enthiran, where he plays the dual role of a scientist and an andro-humanoid robot. All of these films were commercial successes and have been a significant part of the popular culture of India.

Jailer is set for a 2023 theatrical release.
