Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal were recently seen dancing together to the tune of Khalibali, a song from the former’s movie Padmavaat, in a video Singh posted on Instagram.
In the caption of the video, Singh wrote, “Big Man x Bad Man! The collab you didn’t know you needed! Here’s Shaq doing Khalibali! Yes. You read that right! Shaq-a-bibi! “

This is not the first time that Singh has been found dancing with an NBA star to a song from one of his own movies. He was seen on Saturday with Giannis Antetokounmpo, the power forward for the Milwaukee Bucks. The two of them were dancing to the song Tattad Tattad from the 2013 film, Gliyoon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela.

The video has drawn reactions from both fans and celebrities. Varun Dhawan commented, “The shaq attack”, while Chitrangada Singh said, “Hooopin’ it !!”. Badshah, the famous rapper, commented “Shaqaal”, in reference to the similarly named character from the 1980 Bollywood classic, Shaan.

Singh is currently in Abu Dhabi to witness the games of NBA Abu Dhabi 2022. This is the first time that the NBA has been to the United Arab Emirates. The Middle East is proving to be an exciting location for major sporting events. Even the WWE has been hosting their WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia since 2018. Come November, the Middle East will play host to the biggest sporting event in the world, the FIFA World Cup, which is scheduled to commence from November 20, 2022, in Qatar.
On the work front, the 37-year-old superstar’s second and final release of 2022 will be the Rohit Shetty directorial, Cirkus, which will be out on December 23, 2022. He has also wrapped up the production of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahani, except for a song, whose shooting was postponed due to Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy.
