On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, actor Rhea Chakraborty took to Instagram to share a picture of her holding Hanuman Chalisa and seeking the blessings of lord Hanuman amid the COVID crisis. She also wrote a few lines from the Chalisa in the caption.
“जै जै जै हनुमान गोसाईं। कृपा करहु गुरुदेव की नाई। Give us the power to fight this storm, Give us the strength to withstand this misery. Give us your blessings to heal. Jai Bajrangbali,” Rhea wrote in the caption.
Rhea also took to her Instagram story to thank the COVID warriors for their services amid a massive surge in coronavirus cases in Maharashtra. Mumbai alone reported 3,876 new COVID- 19 cases on Monday, while 70 more patients succumbed to the infection.
“Let’s go Mumbai ! Grateful to the Covid warriors (frontline workers) who are saving our beloved city ! #heroes Be safe, be kind.. United we stand.. Love and strength to all of us! May God bless us,” her Instagram story read, according to DNA.

The 28-year-old actor is reportedly looking for work in Hyderabad. According to Indian Express, quoting a source, “Rhea has been knocking every door she can, asking for work, trying to get her life back to normal.”
Rhea was arrested last year in a drug case related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death.
She was subjected to public and media trial after Sushant’s alleged suicide and took a long break from social media. Rhea returned to social media in March, with a photo of her holding her mother’s hand and wishing her a happy Women’s Day.
