Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his next movie, Pathaan, which will be the first movie with him in the lead in five years.

Khan has chosen Jio Cinema’s studio for the promotion of his upcoming movie during the World Cup 2022 final. Jio Cinema is the official OTT to watch the tournament in India. Khan will be present in the studio alongside Wayne Rooney during the final that will see Lionel Messi’s Argentina clash with France.

The 57-year-old superstar often interacts with his fans on social media by asking them to tweet him questions with the hashtag #AskSRK. He did something similar on Friday, and was soon flooded by questions from his legions of fans.

One of his fans asked him to compare football greats Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The fan, who clearly prefers the Portguese goal machine, asked in the tweet, “Why Cristiano Ronaldo is better than messi ?”, to which Khan, deciding to not choose sides in this hotly debated battle, replied, “Just as advice don’t keep finding better….it destroys the good!”

This reply, however, can also be interpreted as Khan choosing the Argentine maestro since he clearly says that he does not want to find the “better”, (which according to this fan is Ronaldo) since he already knows who the good is.

On the other hand, Khan’s co-star in Pathaan, Deepika Padukone, has headed off to Qatar where is expected to unveil the FIFA World Cup trophy before the match between Argentina and France.

The eyes of the entire world will be glued at the final in Lusail Stadium on Sunday as the two footballing powerhouses clash. If France will, it will be the first time since Brazil in 1962 that a defending champion will retain the World Cup.
