American
singer Demi Lovato, who recently announced a collaboration with fellow singer and “good friend” Ariana Grande said that it was Grande who came up with the concept after hearing her song ‘Dancing with the Devil’. She opened up about her power-packed project in a
conversation with a YouTube show ‘Released’. Demi-Ariana collab album is titled ‘Met Him Last Night’.

Calling Grande her “really good
friend” Lovato said, “I played her my ‘Dancing with the Devil’ and she seemed
super excited about it and then she came up with the idea of collaboration.”

The 28-year old singer’s last album ‘Dancing with the Devil … The Art of Starting Over’ was released in 2020 and was her first album since 2017. The album includes ‘Anyone’ and ‘Dancing with the Devil’.

Lovato’s last collaboration was with Sam Fischer for the 2021 song ‘What Other People Say.’ The album also features collaborations with Noah Cyrus for the track ‘Easy’ and Saweetie for ‘My Girlfriends Are My Boyfriend.’ 

The ‘Butterfly’ singer, last month, also made some shocking revelations about her life and childhood in her YouTube docuseries. She said she was raped at the age of 15 and also talked  about the physical toll of her 2018 overdose and hospitalisation case, which shocked a lot of people .
