Fear Street is Netflix%u2019s latest hit and is based on the collection of books by R. L. Stine. The show is absolutely horrifying! The series premiered on Netflix earlier this month. While she is preparing to close the shop, Heather gets a call from her friend Ryan, who also works in the mall. Before things take a tragic turn and the town of Shadyside, Ohio is hit with yet another terrifying tragedy.

A group of kids who went to school with Heather then try to crack the mystery – believing the tragedy to be connected to the legend of the Shadyside witch. Meanwhile, they battle it out with the kids from Sunnyside (the next town over).

But what you may have missed is that there are several Stranger Things x Fear Street crossovers %u2013 that we cannot help but notice and no, we’re not just talking about Maya Hawke.

Okay, first let%u2019s mention her. In Stranger Things, Maya played Robin, Steve’s co-worker at the ice cream parlor Scoops Ahoy at the mall. Robin is the one who helps crack the Russians’ code and beat the baddies in the sci-fi series. In Fear Street, meanwhile, Maya plays Heather – whose tragic demise kicks the whole thing off.

Filming locations:

Some Reddit users pointed out that, there are several filming locations used in Fear Street that also seem to appear in Stranger Things. As both shows were shot in Atlanta and East Point, Georgia, the police station shown in Fear Street was the same Hawkins Post in the Stranger Things series.

Sadie Sink:

Sadie Sink plays Max Mayfield in Stranger Things, after making her debut in the series back in season two. The 19-year-old actor also stars in the second part of Fear Street, as Ziggy Berman.

The vending machine scene:

When the group of teens rocks up at the hospital in Part One of Fear Street, Deena’s brother Josh tries out a little trick to get some snacks from the vending machine.

As fans of Stranger Things will know, Eleven uses her telekinesis in season three to help Mike get his trapped KitKat – and then some!
