Taylor Swift and her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn have broken up after dating for six years. The couple called off their relationship a few weeks ago and the split was amicable and not dramatic.

The news came as the singer headed across the United States for her sold-out Eras tour. Earlier, it was said that Alwyn intended to attach Swift’s concerts and would occasionally travel with her.

Swift’s breakup has sparked hilarious memes online, with social media users now linking her name with comedian Pete Davidson. Twitter users made memes about how Davidson would react to this information. Several memes and GIFs were shared on Twitter describing the hypothetical situation as Davidson has a reputation for dating celebrities back-to-back.

Taylor Swift appeared on Saturday Night Live in November 2021 when Pete Davidson performed. At the time, the comedian was dating Kim Kardashian, who had a feud with Taylor Swift along with her ex-husband Kanye West.

In the episode, Swift and Davidson sang a fictional song called Three Sad Virgins and performed in a music video sketch called Please Don’t Destroy.

However, Kim’s dispute with Taylor did not affect the singer’s performance with Davidson.
