British
actor Tom Felton confessed to having had an “unspoken” love for his co-star in the Harry Potter series, Emma Watson. The revelation was made in his memoir named Beyond the wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing up a Wizard.

Emma Watson
played the role of Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter series. Granger was a close friend and
compatriot of Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) in
the Griffindor house in Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.

Felton essayed the role of Malfoy, from Slytherine and throughout the series he and Potter are rivals.

Meanwhile, Watson has been outspoken about her crush on Felton ever since her young adolescence. In the memorable moments from HBO Max’s Harry Potter 20
anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, Watson said that she fell for Felton during a tutoring session when they had the assignment to draw what god looked
like. Felton drew a girl wearing a backward skateboarding cap.

Felton
reportedly wrote in his memoir, “I have always had a secret love for Watson
though not the way people might want to hear. That isn’t to say there hasn’t
been a spark between us. There most definitely has, only at different times.”

The
35-year-old actor continued, “Rumors started
to abound that there was more to our relationship than we were letting on. I
denied that I liked her in that way, but the truth was different. My girlfriend
at the time knew straight away that there was something unspoken between us. I
remember using the familiar old line, ‘I love her like a sister.’ But there was
more to it than that.”
