Actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are now husband and wife after tying the knot on Thursday in the presence of family and close friends at the Six Senses Fort Barwara hotel at Chauth Ka Barwara in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district. The star couple took their ‘pheras’ this afternoon in an intimate ceremony with limited guests watching the beautiful couple exchanging vows. 

The three-day wedding festivities of Bollywood stars started on Tuesday with a Mehendi ceremony. Both Katrina, 38, and Vicky, 33, left for Jaipur from Mumbai on Monday evening with their families.

Soon after their arrival in Jaipur, the two families drove straight to the wedding venue – Six Senses Fort Barwara, Sawai Madhopur – in a convoy of more than 15 cars.

Close friends and colleagues of the couple, including  filmmaker Kabir Khan, his actor wife Mini Mathur, director Vijay Krishna Achara of “Dhoom 3” and “Thugs of Hindostan” fame, “Bunty Aur Babli 2” actor Sharvai Wagh, actor couple Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi arrived in Jaipur on Tuesday morning.

Katrina’s family members including her mother, sisters, and brothers have flown down from London.

The venue was guarded by private security personnel and bouncers throughout the event with actor Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera helping in security.

Reports of Katrina and Vicky dating have been doing the rounds for over a year.

It is now said that the couple will take a small break and fly to Maldives to spend some time together and alone.
