Marvel left its fans high and dry after Avengers: Endgame in 2019. While 2020 was spent anticipating the upcoming roster of the MCU projects, 2021 has been more than Marvel-ous. 

With Wanda Vision taking over Disney+ Hotstar and Captain America and Winter Soldier giving the fans the new Captain America, the MCU made its fans crave for the action even more with the success of Loki. Loki, featuring Tom Hiddleston as the titular god of mischief, made the case for the upcoming phase 4 of the MCU and how! 

The internet is abuzz with theories about the multiverse, so here%u2019s a list of the upcoming MCU movies and TV shows that are going to dive into the chaos and leave you wanting for more in 2021. 

 What If…?

Slated to release on August 11, 2021, What If%u2026? Is a dream come true for theorists and MCU fans. The animated series is created by A.C. Bradley and will dabble in multiple alternate scenarios that could have happened instead of what already did in the MCU timeline.  Imagine T%u2019Challa becoming the Star Lord! Or what if Peggy Carter was Captain America all along! Well, that%u2019s just a tiny bit of what%u2019s coming. Also, for the fans of Chadwick Boseman, this one will be an emotional ride as it marks his last project with the MCU as the voice behind T%u2019Challa%u2019s character before he succumbed to cancer this year. 

  

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Introducing the first Asian superhero in the MCU, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will feature Simu Liu as Shang-Chi. The story will revolve around Shang-Chi who is a martial artist trained by his father. The twist is that his father Mandarin, played by Tony Leung, is also the head of a terrorist organisation called Ten Rings. 

The series will be released on September 3, 2021. 

Eternals 

November 5 will bring the extraterrestrial beings to the screen with the MCU movie Eternals. One with an ensemble cast, including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek and Kit Harrington, Eternals is about the alien immortals who have fought against the Deviants for ages.

Spider-Man: No Way Home 

Marvel fans cannot wait for Spider Man to swing and fight the villains in the multiverse. The most anticipated movie of the year, Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit the screens on December 17, 2021. Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina will be reprising the roles of Electro and Doctor Octopus, respectively. 

Ms Marvel

Ms Marvel will be featuring the first Pakistani-American teen superhero of the MCU. Blessed with inhuman genes, she will have shapeshifting and healing powers and will pack a punch in late 2021. 

Hawkeye

If you watched the post credit scenes of the recently released MCU%u2019s %u2018Black Widow%u2019, you%u2019ll know there%u2019s a lot that is going to happen with Black Widow%u2019s best friend Clint Barton aka Hawkeye. The archer will co-star Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop in the upcoming film.  The series will arrive in late 2021.
