Jonathan Major’s ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari who accused the Marvel actor of domestic abuse, leading to his arrest, is now under fire after the actor’s team lodged a counter-complaint against Jabbari, stating that it was she who attacked him and he was actually the victim, not the perpetrator.

Priya Chaudhry, one of Majors’ attorneys even told Entertainment Weekly: “From the beginning, we have said Jonathan Majors is innocent and probably the victim here. Last week, for the first time, Mr. Majors met with the NYPD to present them with evidence of what really happened on that night. Within hours of viewing the evidence, and conducting their own thorough investigation, the NYPD found probable cause to arrest Grace Jabbari for assaulting Jonathan Majors.”

On June 21, Majors appeared in front of a court and pleaded “not guilty” to assault, attempted assault, harassment, and aggravated harassment.

Was Grace Jabbari arrested?

Grace Jabbari has not been arrested yet. However, a probable cause for her arrest has been cited by the police. This means she might be arrested soon.

Jabbari’s complaint stated that Majors was violent with her on March 24 when both of them were in New York. She accused him of being physically abusive which allegedly left her with a broken finger, and a cut behind her ear, among other injuries.

Jabbari claimed that she tried to grab his phone after suspecting Majors of cheating on her and texting another woman behind her back. That is when he allegedly twisted her arm and shoved her into his car.

However, the new complaint accuses Jabbari of being “drunk and hysterical” while scratching, hitting, and violently grabbing Majors’ face which made him bleed.

The actor has sat down with the NYPD and claimed that Jabbari has physically assaulted him multiple times, including once in London, when a dispute turned violent.

“Is the suspect capable of killing you or your children? Is the suspect violently and constantly jealous of you? Has the physical violence increased in frequency or severity over the past six months?” he told the police.

He furthermore confessed to raising his hands on Jabbari but only to defend himself. “I was worried she would be hurt by traffic. So, I physically picked her up and put her in the car,” he reportedly told the police. Majors’ team has also provided the police with video evidence to support his case.

The NYPD is looking to bring Jabbari in for questioning. However, the District Attorney’s office has not yet approved the same.
