Director Wes Anderson’s next project ‘Asteroid City’ will see the American filmmaker reunite with Focus Features, the studio that helped release his 2012 coming-of-age classic ‘Moonrise Kingdom’.

The 53-year-old Texan, known for his unique visuals and narrative styles, has a drama planned after ‘The French Dispatch‘, which was a display of Anderson’s maturity as a director but failed to make waves in the award ceremonies.

Asteroid City plot

Written by Anderson, along with Roman Coppola, the film has been described as a “poetic meditation on the meaning of life”.
