Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra on Friday announced that they have had a baby girl via surrogacy. 

Sharing a note on Instagram tagging Nick, Priyanka wrote, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.” Nick shared the same post on his handle.

The couple did not reveal the sex of their newborn, but TMZ reported that the surrogate gave birth to a baby girl.

Priyanka and Nick Jonas got married in 2018 after first meeting in 2017 in an Oscars party. 

Dating rumours intensified when Nick brought Priyanka as his plus-one to his cousin’s wedding in New Jersey. In July 2018, Nick shut down a Tiffany store to buy Priyanka’s $200,000 engagement ring and proposed to her just after her 36th birthday.

Five months later, on December 1, the two tied the knot in two ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
