Jamie Lopez, the star of Super Sized Salon and the person behind Babydoll Beauty Couture has died at the age of 37. Reports suggest that she had been hospitalized in Las Vegas and died over the weekend due to the result of heart complications.

A rep for BBC said in a statement, “We regretfully announce, with great pain, the passing of The Founder & Owner of Babydoll Beauty Couture, The Legendary Jamie Lopez. We ask, on behalf of the Babydoll family, that you allow us time to process this tremendous loss.”

Since the camera was zoomed into her face and no background was visible, it was hard to tell whether Lopez had recorded the video from the hospital or some other location. There was no sign of distress on her face in the video or anything to suggest that she was unwell.

After news of her death, her fans flocked to the comments section to leave prayers for her passing. “Im so heartbroken. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends,” one of them wrote, while another said, “Rip beautiful.” One more stated, “Rest in peace. I can’t believe it.”

Super Sized Salon premiered earlier this year on WE tv. It revolved around the salon’s staff and customers. Lopez was about to begin filming for season 2. Babydoll Beauty Couture was founded to service plus-sized women.
