Actor Preity Zinta’s first Bollywood film was ‘Soldier’ that was released in 1998, opposite Bobby Deol. The actress received various awards for her Bollywood debut, including the best debutante, from none other than ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ actor Keanu Reeves.

In 1999, Preity received the Best Female Debut award at the Zee Cine Awards for her performance in Soldier. In a video that is now going viral, Keanu Reeves looked splendid in kurta and pyjama as he presented the award to the actress.
Preity marked 23 years into showbiz this year in August by delving deep into nostalgia. She posted the video with Keanu on Instagram and wrote a beautiful caption. An excerpt from which can be read, “This video takes me back to the first award I won in the first year of my cinematic journey. I was so shocked I won. It felt like a dream. Here’s to dreaming bigger dreams, making better movies, creating a world of magic & Dil Se entertaining all of you all over again (sic).”

Keanu is back with ‘The Matrix franchise’ after almost two decades. The last film in the series was The Matrix Revolutions (2003). The film features a part of the original cast and also has new faces on board for example Priyanka Chopra who gets into the skin of grown-up Sati in the film.
