Riley Keough, who is grieving the death of her mother Lisa Marie Presley, announced in one of Presley’s memorials in Memphis, Tennessee, that she and husband actor Ben Smith-Petersen welcomed a baby daughter last year. They did not share any other details about the baby. Keough’s representatives, when later contacted, confirmed that the baby was born last year.

“I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters,” Smith-Petersen said at the memorial.

Smith-Petersen and Keough both attended the memorial but only the former spoke and also announced the news on behalf of his wife. The duo met while shooting for Mad Max: Fury Road in 2012 and became best friends. They eventually got engaged in 2014.
