Actress Vidya Balan is overjoyed with the kind of response her last film “Shakuntala Devi” has received after releasing digitally on OTT platform
Amazon Prime Video on July 31. She plays the title role in the biopic based on the life of maths whiz
Shakuntala Devi, known as the ‘human computer’ for her ability to play
with numbers.

However when asked if there is someone else who could have played
Shakuntala apart from her, she told Opoyi, “Shakuntala devi herself.”

The film also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Sanya Malhotra and Amit Sadh in other roles.

According to media consulting film Ormax media, the film is currently
trending
at Number two after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film “Dil Bechara”.

 “Most-liked Indian OTT films,
based on audience engagement: Recent releases @DisneyPlusHS’s Dil Bechara and
@PrimeVideoIN’s Shakuntala Devi take the top spots on the all-time list
