The police have arrested alleged attacker who stabbed Blueface during his boxing workout on Wednesday. He has been identified as Brandon Henry Snell.

Blueface was attacked at the Kaminsky Boxing Gym in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley. The rapper later described the incident as similar to being attacked by a “boogieman.” After the incident Blueface’s son has advised him to never visit the gym again. It is unclear if the musician will heed the advise of his son.

Blueface was conscious and breathing when he when the police responded to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon on Wednesday at the gym at 10:33 a.m. He was transported to the hospital. Soon after, he took to his Instagram Story and said, “I won’t be able to fight October 14th, I was stabbed today by some random guy. Won’t heal up in time.”

Who is Brandon Henry Snell?

Brandon Henry Snell is 36 years old. He was arrested and booked for felony assault with a deadly weapon Wednesday afternoon.

He reportedly turned himself in after allegedly carrying out the violent incident and is currently sitting in jail.

In a video of the incident that surfaced, Blueface and Snell were seen getting into a physical fight as the latter’s Rottweiler jumped in the background. The dog, which never got involved in the fight at any given point of time, was accompanying Snell when he surrendered to the police. It was there at the police station until someone from Snell’s family came to retrieve it.

After the incident took place, Officer Tony Im, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, said that the suspected assailant drove off in a black Tesla Model S with no license plates.

A video of the incident shows Blueface and Snell talking at each other before the rapper, who was wearing boxing gloves, swung and hit the man several times in the face. Snell then backed away long enough to pull something out of his pocket and walk toward the rapper. The moment of the stabbing was not recorded in the video. The next image showed Blueface’s leg full of blood stains and wrapped in bandages.

Trainer David Kaminsky told TMZ that Snell stormed into the gym, yelling, “I’m gonna kill you,” before the confrontation.
