WWE star Carmella, whose real name is Leah Van Dale announced on Monday that she is expecting her first child with husband Matt Polinsky. Polinsky also goes by his stage name, Corey Graves.
She announced the news of her pregnancy exclusively on Good Morning America, further revealing that she found out the exciting news in March. “It’s just all been such a whirlwind,” she said. “I think because of my past, it was hard to get excited off the bat about this one, but I was cautiously optimistic. I try to have a good mindset, a positive mindset this time around, and it’s working. So I’m very happy about that.”
The 35-year-old experienced two miscarriages last year in September and October. However, she said that this pregnancy has “been really good” so far despite the morning sickness being “crazy”. Her delivery date is in November.

Matt Polinsky is a wrestling color commentator and professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE as a commentator and analyst for Raw and SmackDown. His ring name is Corey Graves. Polinsky was born on February 24, 1984, and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Polinsky was previously married to Amy Polinsky. They share three children together. He also has a younger brother, Sam, who wrestles for the National Wrestling Alliance. Van Dale tied the knot with Polinsky in April 2022.
Van Dale also discussed Polinsky’s excitement in having a child with her as he had not expected the news at all. “He was completely shocked and surprised,” she said, adding, “He was so excited, and from the get-go when I told him, we both just really tried to have such a positive outlook on it.”
Even though she and Polinsky were initially a bit “apprehensive” to break the news to Polinsky’s step-children initially, he said that they were thrilled to learn about her pregnancy. The couple was worried about how they might react since “they’re all a little bit older.” “They were so, so excited, and made us even more excited about having the baby. That’s just so amazing,” she said.
