The upcoming American thriller, ‘The Gray Man’ uncovers Ryan Gosling as Court Gentry aka Sierra Six. He will be seen playing a high-class government mercenary. As the protagonist, he will be catapulted into a whirlwind, worldly chase when he discovers government secrets he shouldn’t have.

He is a CIA mercenary recruited by Donald Fitzroy, to join the Sierra team. During his service, he is a notable asset to the agency until he would find out classified details that would land him in trouble. He would be forced to go on the run with a bounty set on him by Lloyd Hansen, his former colleague. 

The so-called “gray man” of the film, Sierra Six (Ryan Gosling), is an old-fashioned killer with a heart of gold. Hot on his trail is Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans). He is a hot-headed gun for hire with a few psychopathic tendencies. The pair make their way through different countries of Europe. 

In an interview with Empire, Ryan mentioned that he liked making ‘The Gray Man’ and he would like to see the film become a Netflix franchise. “I loved making this film. I’d love to do it again. I’m hoping we can bump Six up to a name status at some point, just for his own sanity”, reported Screenrant. 

Ryan Gosling, the two-time Oscar nominee for his roles in ‘Half Nelson’ and ‘La La Land’ has been in the industry since the early 90s. Alongside playing the lead in ‘The Gray Man’, he would be seen in ‘Barbie’ movie next. He would play Ken opposite Margot Robbie in ‘Barbie’.

‘The Gray Man’ is one of Netflix’s most extravagant films to date. It has a budget of USD 200 million. Courtney Howard, a critic stated, “’The Gray Man’ fulfills those expectations, with fun performances from both the leading and supporting cast”.
