Jitendra Kumar is a 31-year-old Indian actor who is best known
for his work in web series Kota Factory, Pitchers and Panchayat. He comes from
a family of engineers and studied civil engineering at India’s prestigious
institution IIT Kharagpur. In his college days he realised his passion for
acting and used to take part in theatre plays.

He was a part of the dramatics society in his college and
even applied to the National School of Drama in Delhi but his dream of getting
into the fames NSD could not come true. He began pursuing acting as a career in
2012 with TVF, and slowly started gaining fame thanks to appearances in several
YouTube videos.

His first role was that of an overly sensitive intern in “Munna
Jazbaati: The Q-tiya intern”. The video was an instant hit and enabled Jitendra
to get more roles. He appeared in TVF’s Bachelor Series and Tech Conversations
with Dad.

The actor who hails from Khairthal, Rajasthan used to love mimicking
actors like Nana Patekar and Amitabh Bachchan as a child.  However, his mimic of Aam Aadmi Party’s leader
Arvind Kejriwal is the one that remains imprinted in the minds of everyone who
has watched the video.

He performed a lead role in Ayushman Khurrana starrer Shubh
Mangal Zyada Savdhaan which was released in 2020. Kumar played the role of Aman
Tripathi. The film is a Hindi romantic comedy which portrays the story of a gay
man and his partner who try to convince their parents of their relationship.

That same year, Jitendra performed the lead role in Chaman Bahaar.
The Netflix film revolves around the life of a small town panwalla who falls in
love with a schoolgirl.

His fans will be able to watch him in action very soon when
he performs the role of Jeetu Bhaiya in the second season of Kota Factory. The
new season is set to release on Netflix on September 24.
