Actor Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meera Chopra has filed an FIR against her ‘abusive, goonda’ interior designer for conning Rs. 8 lakhs and pushing her out of her own house.  The 37year-old said that she had to file an FIR against her interior decorator because of his behaviour and she is still awaiting justice.

“I was duped by my interior designer. I had filed an FIR against him nearly two months ago, yet no action has been taken against him. These people should be answerable to the lawmakers and society. If nobody questions them then it only encourages them to do it over and over again,” she told Bombay Times.

The 37-year-old actor is known for her works in Tamil and Telugu films. Her Tamil debut film ‘Anbe Aaruyire’ also became a huge hit which made her a sensation in the South.

She is the second cousin of actors Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, and Mannara Chopra. Chopra recently spoke about how she “never got any work because of Priyanka Chopra” and that the only good thing out of coming from a family like hers was that people took her seriously.

The 37-year-old actor has recently been caught in a vaccine controversy where she was accused of getting vaccinated out of her turn.

The actor has denied all the allegations of using unfair means to get vaccinated. She released her statement on the case on Twitter. Chopra has also deleted pictures she posted of her getting vaccinated since the allegation.
