Melia Kreiling will star as Amandine Buckingham along with James Corden, and Colin Morgan in the upcoming Amazon Prime series Mammals. This British black comedy-drama series created by James Richardson is scheduled to release on November 11, 2022.  

The 6-episode dark-comedy is written by award-winning playwright and screenwriter Jez Butterworth and it also features Naoko Mori, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, and Nina Toussaint-White in supporting roles.

Who is Melia Kreiling?

Melia Kreiling was born on October 6, 1990, in Geneva, Switzerland to American father Randall A. Kreiling and Greek mother Katia Dimopoulou. She was raised in Athens and went to an English-speaking school there. She subsequently enrolled at the National State School of Dance. She attended the University of Winchester and Leeds’ Northern School of Contemporary Dance after relocating to the UK. She also trained herself in acting at the London School of Dramatic Art. 

Melia Kreiling’s Acting Career

Melia started her career in Los Angeles, California when she was signed by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Piers Nimmo Management. Melia debuted in the popular television program Tyrant (FX Networks). She then made an appearance in Amazon’s The Last Tycoon and starred in Pantelis Voulgaris’ award-winning film The Last Note, which had the highest box office collection in Greece in 2018.

Kreiling made her film debut in 2011 with Room to Forget. She earned major recognition after her role in the historical drama The Borgias. In 2012, she reprised her role in the film The Other Wife and also made an appearance in a television documentary about Rosamunde Pilcher. She played the role of Bereet, a brief cameo in the American movie Guardians of the Galaxy. She also featured as Bathsheba in the 2013 History Channel miniseries The Bible.  

 Melia portrayed Daliyah Al-Yazbek in the FX television series Tyrant from 2015 to 2016. In 2018, she joined the cast of the CBS summer series Salvation and portrayed the role of Alycia. In 2020, Kreiling appeared in the lead role of the American television series Filthy Rich and now she is all set to star in the upcoming series Mammals.
