Todd Chrisley, the disgraced reality star, who received a 12-year federal jail sentence in November for his involvement in various financial fraud schemes, is said to be discontent in prison.

According to Todd Chrisley’s attorney, the “Chrisley Knows Best” star has claimed that he has been unfairly targeted and “singled out” while incarcerated and that his “celebrity status” has contributed to abuse behind bars.

Who is Todd Chrisley?

Todd Chrisley, a well-known actor and producer in the entertainment business, was born in Georgia, USA, on April 6, 1969. His contributions to films like “Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens” (2016) and television series like “Growing Up Chrisley” (2019) and “According to Chrisley” (2017) are just a few of his noteworthy accomplishments. Since May 25, 1996, he has been married to Julie Chrisley, with whom he has three children. He was married to Teresa Terry before he wed Julie.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were jailed for their involvement in the offenses after being initially charged with bank fraud and tax evasion in August 2019. Julie was given a seven-year sentence, while Todd was given a 12-year prison term. Charges like conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, tax fraud, wire fraud, and justice obstruction were among the many offenses for which they were found guilty.

Both Todd and Julie will be sentenced to 16 months on probation following the completion of their respective prison terms. Todd enrolled in the minimum-security Federal Prison Camp Pensacola to carry out his term.

Recently, Todd Chrisley has been outspoken about his concerns about being “singled out” and suffering mistreatment in prison, which he attributes to his fame. In addition, the couple’s children have also made claims of “inhumane treatment” to their parents in a Savannah Chrisley podcast episode called “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley.”
