Craig Carton is reportedly leaving WFAN after nearly three years of enjoying successful radio ratings to join Fox Sports.

According to New York Post, Carton was offered a morning show at the cable sports network FS1 giving him a morning show last September. It will bear his name, “The Carton Show.” According to sources, the exit comes with a lucrative deal as he is likely to earn a seven-figure cheque after starting to host the FS1 program.

Carton will be leaving WFAN in a little more than a week. According to sources, the deal was too sweet as he was receiving a significant financial jump from doing his radio show in New York. Carton also got blessings from Audacy president Chris Oliviero, who is in charge of WFAN, to pursue the FS1 deal, according to sources.
