Morbius will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu by Sony Pictures Entertainment India on April 1, 2022.
The long-awaited film adaptation of the comic book character Morbius is now in theatres. It is directed by Daniel Espinosa and features some of the most interesting and conflicted characters from the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters. Jared Leto, an Oscar winner, plays the mysterious antihero Michael Morbius.
Dr Morbius, who is critically ill with a rare blood ailment and is motivated to save others from the same destiny, takes a risky gamble. While it appears to be a huge success at first, the darkness within him is released.
There are numerous interesting Easter Eggs to be spotted in the Morbius trailers, many of which appear to lead into a larger Sony Spider-Man Universe. When the second Morbius trailer was released, it featured a Daily Bugle newspaper with headlines referencing both Rhino and Black Cat, two characters from The Amazing Spiderman 2. One clip even concludes with Morbius humorously referring to himself as Venom in a terrifying tone.
Morbius, according to director Daniel Espinosa, “lives in the same universe” as Tom Hardy’s Venom. “It’s the same universe Venom left at the end of Let There Be Carnage and returned to at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home,” he explained.
Morbius is the start of an exciting new era for all Marvel fans out there.
