Here’s what we know about “The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3:

On August 3, Prime Video revealed the renewal. In contrast to the pattern of Season 2’s renewal preceding the initial season’s release, the confirmation of Season 3’s continuation emerged while Season 2 was already in progress.

Because of the SAG-AFTRA strike in late June, the commencement of production for Season 3 has been halted and will remain on hold until the resolution of the actors’ strike. Considering the writers’ strike initiated in May, the likelihood of finalized scripts for Season 3 is minimal.

Season 3 is anticipated to partially align with the narrative trajectory of Jenny Han’s conclusive installment in the series, “We’ll Always Have Summer.”
