Binge-eating is common, especially during the festive season. However, it can usually make you regret your meal choices. If you often have your favourite dishes on the table during the holidays, but can't stop worrying about what would happen after that big meal; then you are not alone.

Don't overstress and do cut yourself some slack. Here are a few ways through which you can detox your body, burn those calories and recover from food anxiety.

Don't go to sleep

It's important to understand that our bellies do not digest the food as quickly as we eat it. So, avoid lying down no matter how sleepy you feel after a good meal.

Take a walk

Get your body moving. Walking does not only help to digest the food but it can also help to burn the stored fat in your body. It will also make you feel more energized than before.

Keep yourself hydrated
