Delhi in the last 24 hours recorded 6,500 new cases of COVID-19, bringing down the positivity rate to 11%, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday, adding that the impact of coronavirus is going down in the national capital.

While thanking doctors and engineers, the Delhi Chief Minister said, “1,000 ICU beds have been set up within 15 days, our doctors and engineers have set an example.”

A day ago, Delhi had logged over 8,5000 new cases of coronavirus. 

Arvind Kejriwal further added,  “We are starting oxygen concentrator bank today. Essential to provide oxygen to COVID patients, on time.”

“We have started this for such patients. 200 such banks set up in every district. Our team will provide the concentrator at the doorstep of patients in home isolation if needed,” the Delhi CM said.
