Paris Hilton, the 41-year-old American socialite, has recently opened up about her sexual assault when she was a teenager. She revealed that it happened when she was sent to a boarding school, Provo Canyon School, at the age of 17. She was later diagnosed with attention deficit disorder.

Originally from New York City, Hilton grew up in Beverly Hills. She gained popularity from the reality TV show The Simple Life (2003-2007), in which she co-starred with her friend Nicole Richie.

What is Attention Deficit Disorder?

ADHD, short for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood.
