Shah Rukh Khan fans, it’s time to celebrate as the Bollywood superstar, whose debut movie ‘Deewana’ released on June 25, 1992, completes 30 years in Bollywood today. King Khan initially got recognition for portraying villainous roles in the hit movies like Baazigar (1993), Darr (1993), and Anjaam (1994). His career trajectory soon changed as he started doing romantic roles. In a career spanning 30 years, the 56-year-old actor won hearts with his versatility. The last few years, however, haven’t been lucrative for him as several of his movies, including ‘Zero’ and ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ bombed at the box office. He is, however, gearing up to rule the box office once again with some amazing projects with prolific directors. 

Let’s take a look at the actor’s upcoming movies – 

Pathan –  Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathan‘ is touted to be an edge-of-the-seat action thriller. Apart from SRK, the movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. If rumours are to be believed, Salman Khan also has a cameo in the movie. 

Jawan – SRK fans went earlier this month when the actor dropped a one-minute thirty-second teaser of ‘Jawan’, a movie directed by Atlee, starring Nayanthara as the female lead. Khan is reportedly playing a double role in the film, which is expected to release in June next year. 

Dunki – Helmed by ace director Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki will hit the screens on December 22 next year. The movie will see SRK pairing up with actor Taapsee Pannu for the first time. The first teaser of the film was dropped last month. 

Brahmastra – The actor will be essaying the role of a scientist in the movie which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles. Brahmastra will hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.

Tiger 3 – SRK will be seen in a cameo in Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’, which also features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal roles. Not much is known about the character he will be portraying in the third installment of the Tiger franchise.
