Former
Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is among the greatest skippers of all time.
The Ranchi-born wicketkeeper-batsman has won everything on offer with India – Dhoni
is the only captain to win all ICC trophies – and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and
has set standards of success not seen before or since.

Dhoni recently
reunited with the Indian team in the role of a mentor during last year’s T20
World Cup
. During his time with the Men in Blue, many opposition players would
often come up to him for a chat, seemingly to soak in some of his wisdom.

India began
their campaign with a blockbuster clash against arch-rivals Pakistan, with the Babar
Azam
-led side securing an emphatic, 10-wicket, victory to defeat India in a World
Cup match for the first time ever.

After the match,
a number of Pakistani players, including Azam, Shoaib Malik and others, were
seen in a huddle around Dhoni as they were having a conversation. The images
from were widely shared to show how players from the two teams ceased rivalry
off the pitch and conducted themselves in the proper spirit of sportsmanship.

Another example
of that spirit was evident on Friday, when Haris Rauf shared an image of a
signed CSK jersey that he received from Dhoni as a gift.

“7” still winning hearts through his kind & goodwill gestures.
@russcsk specially Thank you so much for kind support,” Rauf said on his
official Twitter account.

Rauf put in
an impressive performance against India during the World Cup clash. He recorded a strike rate of 6.25 and finished with figures of 1/25 in four overs, taking the important wicket of Hardik Pandya.

Dhoni is set to return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) with CSK this year. He was one of the four players retained by the four-time IPL champions .
