Jiah Khan was a promising young actor who had appeared with big faces of Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Amir Khan among others over her short career. In 2013, she was found dead in her apartment when she was only 25 years old. The death was ruled as suicide. However, her mother had accused her boyfriend, Suraj Pancholi, of abetment to suicide. Years later, the case is still going on.
However, she is not forgotten by the people. On her birth anniversary today, she is remembered by netizens who pray for her soul and hopes that she gets justice. According to reports, her then-boyfriend, Suraj Pancholi’s name was also mentioned in the suicide note that she had left.

The police, the court, and the industry might have forgotten her death, but netizens remember.
Recently, a BBC documentary also came out which explored the case of her death. Suraj and his father, Aditya Pancholi also appeared in the documentary where they claimed that they were innocent. The documentary shed light on many loose ends of the police investigation such as Jiah’s missing track pants, limited access to her phone, and certain marks on her body.
