Bollywood movie ‘Attack’, which was released in early 2022, has stars like John Abraham, Rakul Preet Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Prakash Raj and Ratna Pathak Shah.
The movie collected Rs. 3.51 crore on its opening day and 3.75 crore on the second day. As of 14 April 2022, the film grossed Rs. 19.08 crore in India and Rs. 3.50 crore overseas, for a worldwide gross collection of Rs. 22.58 crore.
After the movie performed nominally at the box office, actor John Abraham wrote in a letter that he was “proud of the film.”
The letter read, “Whatever appreciation we have received for the film, a big thank you to the audience for accepting something that’s new and different. Attack was an honest, humble experiment on our part, to give the industry something refreshing and new.”
“It was challenging through the 3 pandemic waves, but we got what we wanted. I completely own and am proud of this film. I stand by the honest effort every team member has taken on Attack”, it added.
Multiple Bollywood celebrities reacted to the letter written by John Abraham. Abhishek Bachchan, who has previously worked with the actor in movies like ‘Dostana’ and ‘Dhoom’, wrote “More power to you, Baba.”
