The Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), which has over 36,000 member cooperatives and a group turnover of approximately $7 billion dollars, moved up to 65th place in overall turnover ranking from 125th place the previous financial year.
According to the 9th annual world Cooperative Monitor (WCM) study released by the International Cooperative Alliance, IFFCO was ranked first among 300 prominent cooperatives in the world.
