Known for her YouTube channel, Mostlysane, Prajakta Koli is an Indian YouTuber who will make her film debut in Raj Mehta’s upcoming comedy, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ (2022), starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani.
After she was selected for the role, Koli told IndulgeExpress, “I am so happy, thrilled and also nervous to begin working on the film. But mostly I feel grateful for this journey I am on. While I can’t talk more about the film, I must say that I could not have dreamt of working with such accomplished actors in my very first film and so this is the best debut that I could have hoped for.”
Born and brought up in Thane, Koli began her media career as an intern for radio station Fever 104 FM.
Her first show, ‘Call Centre’, failed, following which she started her YouTube channel in 2015, with a focus on commentary and observational comedy.
Since then, she has acquired more than 6.5 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, and has even collaborated with mainstream Bollywood icons such as Hrithik Roshan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Vicky Kaushal, among others.
By February 2019, Koli featured in Forbes’ list of 30 under 30, and was also featured in the list of Women of Worth by Outlook Business Magazine.
