Shaylyn Ford, the winner of Mrs America 2021, made the headlines again in January 2022 when she was crowed Mrs World at the 2022 Mrs World Pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“LET’S WELCOME OUR NEWEST MRS. WORLD!!! Welcome our very own Shaylyn Ford, Mrs. American 2021. All your hard work and dedication has paid off, the crown is yours now! Let your reign be a reflection of who you are and radiate your presence to the World. Congratulations and can’t wait to see what you are going to accomplish with your voice. To our new Queen, Shaylyn Ford!,” the official social media handle of the pageant announced on January 16, 2022, along with a video that showed Ford in tears as she grappled to come to terms with her win.

The 37-year-old, who hails from Granville, Ohio, beat 57 other contestants to claim the crown, which was awarded to her by Mrs World 2020 winner Kate Schneider from Ireland. Mrs Jordan and Mrs UAE came second and third respectively.
