Veteran actor Arun Bali, who was suffering from Myasthenia Gravis, died on October 7,  in Mumbai. He was 79. 

Myasthenia Gravis is an autoimmune condition that results from communication failure between nerves and muscles due to which he was hospitalized earlier this year.

According to thepersonage.com, Bali’s net worth is $9 million. 

His son Ankush Bali confirmed about his funeral proceedings. According to him, the family will wait for some relatives to fly to Mumbai from the U.S. and the cremation will take place on Saturday.

According to Ankush, the 79-year-old actor was also going through mood swings for two to three days.

His other children are Stuti Bali Sachdeva, Itishri Bali and Pragati Bali. The name of his wife is Prakash Bali.

Bali’s last films were Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan and the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Goodbye, which was released on Friday, on the day of his death itself. His career started with the role of King Porus in the 1991 historical drama Chanakya, and Kunwar Singh in Swabhimaan, a Doordarshan soap opera. Apart from these, he also played the role of Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, the Chief Minister of undivided Bengal in the 2000 movie Hey Ram, a controversial and critically acclaimed movie. 

He was also a part of Kumkum – Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan where he played the role of Harshvardhan Wadhwa, a grandfatherly character. After this, he was known for similar elderly roles in the 2000s.

 Popular bollywood movies of which he was a part include the Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots (2009), the Ranbir Kapoor film Barfi (2012), Rajkumar Hirani’s PK (2014), Airlift (2016) with Akshay Kumar, the Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath (2018), and Panipat (2019) starring Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

Other movies of which he had been a part include Phool Aur Angaar (1993), Policewala Gunda (1995) and Ram Jaane (1995).
