The Narcotics
Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday opposed bail for Aryan Khan, Bollywood actor
Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son, before the Bombay High Court. The Bombay High
Court

Meanwhile, while
opposing bail for Aryan Khan, the anti-drug agency has alleged that Shah Rukh
Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani has “appeared to have influenced” a witness. The
NCB said Dadlani attempted to tamper with the investigation and derail it and sought
more time to follow up on the so-called “international drug connection of Aryan
Khan” that the NCB says it has found in course of the investigation.

The agency has
also cited Aryan Khan’s influence in society to oppose bail. “Considering the
influential position Aryan Khan holds in the society, he may tamper with the evidence
and influence other witnesses whom he personally knows is very much possible,”
the anti-narcotics agency has written to the Bombay High Court.

In making the
claims against Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani, the NCB cites allegations
of a witness named Prabhakar Sail, who alleged in an affidavit that Kiran
Gosavi, the private investigator whose picture with Aryan Khan following his
arrest went viral, had planned to demand Rs 25 crore from Dadlani.

The witness has
further claimed that of the Rs 25 crore, Rs 8 crore would be meant for Sameer
Wankhede
, the NCB official leading the investigation. This charge, the NCB has
categorically denied and has called it an attempt to derail the investigation.

Shah Rukh Khan’s son
Aryan Khan has been in judicial custody since October 8. He was arrested by the
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3 after a team of NCB sleuths raided
a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. While no drugs were found on Khan, the NCB
has claimed that the 23-year-old know that his friend Arbaaz Merchant allegedly
had six grams of charas and the duo had
planned to consume the contraband.
