German automobile manufacturer Audi on Monday
launched its new S5 Sportback facelift in India. The car, priced at Rs 79.06 lakh
(ex-showroom price), will be coming to India as a pre-built unit and will not
require assembling once it hits the Indian shores.

Making its debut in the 2019 Frankfurt Motor show,
the car will go up against rivals in its segment such as the BMW M340i xDrive and Mercedes
AMG-43, as per a report by Carandbike.

 Powered by three-litre V6 TFSI
petrol engine, the machine is capable to producing 347 BHP and a 500 Nm peak
torque, which can channel enough power for the car to propel itself into a speed
of 0-100 kmph in 4.7 seconds.

Coming to India in a facelifted version, the S5
Sportback will be including a lot of differences when compared to the S5 Coupe.

The seating capacity has slightly been changed,
with the four-passenger capacity changed into five passengers.

The cargo volume has significantly been increased,
from 10.9 cubic feet to 21.8 cubic feet.

Several touches inside and outside the car, too,
are noticeable, with a single-frame grille, new LED headlamps and taillights,
as well as a 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system and climate control being some
of the newer features in the car.

For the audio-enthusiastic, the S5 Sportback comes
with a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
