4. Sardar Udham

Starring rising icon Vicky Kaushal, this 2021 film revolves around the life of Sardar Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer in London in revenge for the  Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. The film is available on Amazon Prime Video.

5. 83  

Starring real-life couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, 83 is a glimpse into India’s cricket World Cup win of 1983. Ranveer plays the role of former captain and cricket icon Kapil Dev, while Deepika plays his wife Romi Dev. Released on December 24, the film is on its way to becoming a blockbuster hit.
