As soon as the bidding war between RCB and
CSK came to an end – with Virat Kohli’s side edging the battle – Twitter exploded with reactions,
with a number of high profile personalities giving their thoughts on the buy.

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, who has been an
integral part of Punjab’s think tank, posted a meme indicating how the IPL
auction brings buckets of money to Maxwell.

Royal Challengers Bangalore also took on to
Twitter to express their glee on bringing Maxwell to the Chinnaswamy stadium.
