A picture of a bucket for sale on the e-commerce website platform of Amazon has gone viral. Most internet users were taken aback by the product’s high price. The item, dubbed “Plastic Bucket for Home and Bathroom Set of 1,” is being sold for a whopping Rs 25,999 on the e-commerce website of Amazon. What makes this further unusual is that after getting a 28% discount, the product has reached the displayed amount. The initial price of the product was Rs 35,900.

@vivekraju93, a user, shared the photo on Twitter and wrote, “Just found this on Amazon, and I don’t know what to do.”

While this appears to be a tech glitch, Amazon responded via its Amazon Help account, writing, “Our apologies for the inconvenience, we would like to look more closely at this.” Could you please share the URL to the item you are referring to?” –Mustafa.

Something that took the other users by surprise was the left-out stock of the product. Another user, @shubhi1011, posted a photo and commented, “The baffling part is only 1 remaining in stock!”

Another user, @aspiringcat, came up with an amusing remark about her fantasy imagination. She wrote, “Letting my imagination go wild, this is an excellent way to send illegal stuff.” What if it’s a coded item with the product image of the bucket, but you also get other things in the bucket?”

Another product similar to the highly-priced bucket is also getting advertised on the e-commerce websites platform of Amazon. The other product is a set of two toilet mugs for Rs 9,914. The initial price of these mugs is a startling Rs 22,080. It is only after a discount of 55% that these sets of toilet mugs have reached the displayed amount on the website.
