Follow these DIY homemade margarita recipes to dish out a mean glass of margarita.

Fruity/flavoured

Think Margarita, think flavours. Margaritas come in every flavor and can be paired with every imaginable fruit. If you are in a fruity kind of mood and want something refreshing, a fruity margarita will go all the way.

What you need is Tequila, Cointreau, Lime juice, Lemon juice, and watermelon. Mix together the lemon juice, lime juice, and Cointreau. So, now it has become a margarita mix. You may refrigerate the margarita until serving. And when you are just about to serve, just add the tequila. Featuring watermelon, the margarita will be hard to say no to.

Jalapeno margarita

In the list of International Bartender Association’s IBA official cocktails, the margarita is listed as a classic alcoholic drink. This means that there’s an “official” definition of ingredients used in the mix. With the main three parts in, just add a slice of jalapeno.

For a jalapeno margarita, you’ll need Tequila, Cointreau, Lime juice, and Jalapeno pepper slices.

Cover the rim of the glass with salt because it enhances the taste of the ingredients. Shake the drink in the shaker with four ice cubes and the jalapeno slices. Pour the drink into a glass, add ice, a little more garnishing never hurt anybody and it’s drink ready!

Virgin margarita

Again, three main ingredients with the right addition you want in your drink. This time, use pickle juice. The juice will bring the party to the margarita, giving you a sense of alcohol’s presence in the drink.

So…mix, shake well, strain and get to partying!

Pro tip: You can even try making one with tonic or sparkling water.
