India will extend the third phase of its COVID-19 vaccination drive on May 1, in which everyone above the age of 18 are eligible to be vaccinated. As the country is reeling under a second wave of coronavirus, several states have announced to provide COVID-19 vaccines free of cost.

States with free vaccination for those between the ages of 18 and 45:

Starting from May 1, Gujarat will provide COVID-19 vaccines free of cost to those between 18 and 45 years of age. Maharashtra, Goa, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir also announced free vaccination to all adult citizens below the age of 45.

States with free vaccination for those between the ages of 18 and 44:

Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand announced free COVID-19 vaccination for those between 18 and 44 years of age.

States with free vaccination for those above the age of 18:

Delhi, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana, Assam and Haryana, announced free COVID-19 vaccination for all above 18.

States with free vaccination for everybody:

Kerala announced that COVID-19 vaccines would be provided free of cost for everyone in the state.
